Before starting with squishy art, one of the things I enjoyed the most was to create random monsters and creatures, so it's still fun to do that now and then.

The Bulbo Sapiens are a specimen of sentient truck-sized bulb plants that inabit deep swamps, forests and sometimes even small towns.
Despite their monstrous size, they are very peaceful creatures who enjoy walking inside the forest, using their root tendrils to very slowly move around as they observe and study their surroundings.
Their extremely long lifespan allows them to accumulate many centuries of knowledge, making many adventures to actively seek them for their wisdow, which also includes magical nature secrets like powerful healing spells. While being very peaceful, they can still use their magical repertory to try to defend themselves in a pinch, however their kind and calm nature often becomes their demise, becoming unable to fully use them to harm their aggressors.

Their giant bulb bodies are completely filled with mana gathered through their many years of life, which unfortunately also makes them a prime target for the black market, selling their bulbs as powerful magical batteries. This together with their extremely slow reproduction rates made the Bulbo Sapiens to enter in a nearly extinct state, with only several specimens remaining.
The Magical Council efforts to preserve them have been very successful as of late, having witnessed their first offspring of many centuries. But with the restless black market making their bulbs one of the most valuable items and so many bounty hunters in the prowl for them, their future is still uncertain.
