And just to be inb4 - yeah, I know there's probably lingerie without lace, even tho I can't think of an example right now, as normal underwear like a tanga is hardly called lingerie. I hate garter belts as well, most of the time. Lingerie without lace and garter belts I would probably not mind, but I'm not sure that exists.

I don't like negligees either, but I don't really oppose them. Couldn't put in words why tho. I wouldn't mind one of my chars being in one but I wouldn't explicitly commission it. But anyway, from what I saw so far, negligees would not be included in "lingerie" too often.

I have drawn lingerie on request .. but frankly I never found it suggestive ..

That's what I mean. I don't like the common association of women needing a lace bra, lace panties, stockings, a garterbelt, etc. That seems to be a societal standard for "sexy outfit."

eh, I dunno if I agree with that. I don't like lingerie, but some clothing can make a body, no matter if male or female, sexier. It's just personal preference. It has nothing to do with any societal standards. Pretty much everything on this site goes against societal standards because anthros aren't really part of it.
some stuff is more widely liked, sure, but I'd argue that has nothing to do with society and more to do with evolutionary psychics. what reveals the most or is easiest to remove usually wins in that aspect. Personally I love miniskirts and I have no delusion that this isn't the root cause. But noody says that women "need" it to be sexy, just that a sexy woman may be even more so with it implemented.
Anyway, that's a whole different discussion that you probably didn't wat to get drawn into and a comment sectioon like this wouldn't really be the right place to duke this out, so let's just say I respectfully disagree even if I share your feelings about lingerie.

See I wouldnt call that dark humor, that would be called "shock humor" although the two are kissing sisters, shock humor typically approaches taboo subjects in an attempt to annoy, shock or infuriate the listener then turn it on its head ( rarely done right) Dark humor often deals with subjects including pain, death, loss, and suffering of the soul. It's more focused on making light of things often avoided for the sake of emotionality.

I'm not even talking about shock humor. I mean people who say nasty things, then use the claim that they're making a dark joke as a way to belittle the complainer.
