Ohhh, I really hope Marellis will like change his attitude against Star. It could go either of two ways I guess. Either he ridicules her and uses his newfound knowledge against her. Or he empathize with her more because they have something in common. I really hope it’s the latter 😓
Initial expectations - Absolute worst most possible outcome, he tries to use his knowledge of her to his advantage and either fires her when she doesn't relent or she leaves of her own accord. O.O *freaks out a tiny bit just from thinking it*
More likely result - Something middle ground and possibly even bitter-sweet that gives Star just the tiniest little crack in her shell that shows her that just maybe she really can indulge in her little-side on her off hours and still be a perfectly functioning person at work. :D

And now we see if Marellis will redeem himself from last we saw him.
If he has any decorum he will remember that what happens at play events/parties stays at play events/parties.
But if he continues to show a lack of decorum he will be teasing Star with innuendos and double entendres.
Personally I think he should apologize for the way he acted at the party.

Yeah. Just seems like because of Marellis' personality and how he treated her over the weekend, it just seems like a thing Marellis would do and fits his personality and motive perfectly, out of those two options. Not saying it will happen, but more like if any of those two options happens, it will be option #2 to be more likely to happen.
That is a possiblity as well and makes sense. But Marellis could bluff about the blackmailing as well. But Star could fall into Marellis' blackmail and not even thinking about what you listed. But either way, what you said makes sense and could be a really good possiblity. We just have to wait and see. But regardless of what happens..... Shine is a really good and entertaining comic and thanks for showing me your opinion on it. :)
Thanks and I like your comment as well. In that scenario like this we all have to think who will have the most to gain or most to lose from each scenarios.
Looks like for me, for now... Star has more to lose from this, but because of the scenario the results could easily backfire and reverse on him so Marellis could have everything to lose for this at any given point throughout the comic, just kind of depends from each person's point of view.

Hay I did some digging and found what could happen to Marellis if he is caught granted this is the US military so I don't know what the British military punishment is.
A service member of the United States Armed Forces who, with intent to secure some leverage or item of value, threatens another person with force, with the release of secrets, or by any other means, may face conviction and sentencing under Article 127 of the UCMJ. Mere threats may not seem like a justifiable cause for harsh punishment, but the U.S. Military doesn’t see it that way. Should you be convicted, you will almost certainly face:
A prison sentence which could cost you years and leave you playing catchup in the civilian world for the rest of your life.

Thanks. I knew about the prison sentence and discharge from the military, but I did not know about the security, salary, retirement, healthcare, etc. taken away from you.
I don't know how it is in the UK, but that's exactly what I was talking about where it looks like Star has a lot to lose at first from this, but if anybody else knew what Marellis have done, then everything switches to him where Marellis has everything to lose from this. Thanks for sharing. :)

Your Shine comic is always the cutest, funniest, most interesting, and best ever, Star! Reading your comic always makes my day better. You should be really proud of yourself. Also, don't know if this is going to happen or not.... but I have the wierdest feeling that Marellis is going to treat Star like a baby a lot from now on as a bribe.
InB4 He tries to abuse the information he has on her to get her to "fall in line" and she just turns the tables on him by saying, "Yeah I was there. BUT SO WERE YOU? So you don't harass me over it or try to use the fact I was there against me and I won't let it "slip" that you know where I was because you were there too and seemingly enjoying it as much as I was."
You know. Appropriately, he should request a transfer. He acted inappropriately with a subordinate, even if he thought it was consensual, and knows damaging information on her that could be used by him self or others to manipulate her. That's not an acceptable situation to allow your self to be in.
