Chapter 2
When Aurora returned to Asgard, she went into the balcony where King Stefan was as he overseeing the soldiers training, and a black bird landed on his arm. He looked at his daughter who walked up to him as he said "Is Vanaheim secure?" "As are Normheim and Ria." Aurora said as she nodded. "Though our work would have gone more quickly with you at the fore." "You must think I'm a piece of bread that needs to be buttered so heavily." King Stefan said. "That was not my intent." Aurora said. "For the first time since the Bifrost was destroyed, the Nine Realms are at peace." King Stefan said. "They're well reminded of our strength, and you have earned their respect, and my gratitude." "Thank you." Aurora said. "Nothing out of order except your confused and distracted heart." King Stefan said. "This isn't about Phillip Foster, father." Aurora said. "Human lives are fleeting." King Stefan said. "They are nothing." He pointed at Merryweather training as he said "You'd be better served by what lies in front of you. I'm telling you this not as the all-father, but your father. You are ready. The time has come for you to take the throne. Embrace and celebrate what you've won. Join your warriors. Eat and drink, revel in their celebration. At least pretend to enjoy yourself."
Later, Aurora had finished washing and drying herself off with a towel as she looked out the window, and sighed. Later that night, snow started to fall on Asgard, and Aurora was watching her friends celebrating around her. Chien-Po finished off his drink, and tossed the cup as he said "Another!" Aurora stood up from her seat, and started to walk out as Yao patted her on her back. Aurora walked out the building, and walked up to Merryweather as she said "There was a time you would celebrate for weeks." "I remember you celebrated the battle of Haragon so much that you nearly started a second." Aurora said. "Well, the first was so much fun." Merryweather said. They both smiled as Merryweather said "Take a drink with me. Surely, the all-father could have no further task for you tonight." "No, this is one I set myself." Aurora said. "It has not gone unnoticed that you disappear each night." Merryweather said. "There are nine realms. Future queen of Asgard must focus on more than one." "I thank you for your sword, and for your counsel, good Lady Merryweather." Aurora said as she walked away."
-Meanwhile in London, England-
In a fancy restaraunt, Phillip Foster was on a date with a woman named Cathy Muller. Phillip was looking at the menu while feeling awkward as they kept slightly looking at each other. Then, Cathy slid a napkin with the word hi written on it in front of him. Phillip looked at Cathy as she said "Hi." "Hi." Phillip said. "So, what's the story with you?" Cathy asked. "Why does there have to be a story, there's no story." Phillip said. "You've spent the first ten minutes of our date hiding behind a menu that has three choices on it." Cathy said. "It's either chicken, vegetarian, or fish. Phillip, I think there's a story, and I'm thinking the story involves a girl?" "It's complicated." "Is she still around?" Cathy asked. "No, she...went away." Phillip said. "I've been there." Cathy said. "The going away, it's hard. I'd been seeing a man, and uh...he took a job in New York, eventually the distance killed it. And...And the fact that he uh...he kept seeing other girls." Phillip gasped, and said "No!" Cathy nodded as she said "Oh, so many."
