Hello! I'm doing all right in quarantine, aside from the IRS being a dingus about my tax return and stimulus check. I've got online friends, a dog, and video games to keep me sane. But still, I feel like drawing a lot of stuff so I'm going to challenge myself to get a drawing done once every day of the month (including some that I started and didn't finish). Like Inktober but just me and no prompts.*
The elemental monkeys! You know, I find them to be pretty cool little Pokémon, I think it's a shame that they get so much flak and don't really see why they do. They're cute before they evolve and cool afterwards, and a certain little brown fox Pokémon's outrageous popularity tells me that the fan base has no aversion to collections of type variations of the same basic design. Aside from that, I've been realizing lately... I kinda like monkeys! Flip was a starter villager in my ACNH town and he grew on me fast, and I also played all the way through my first Donkey Kong Country game (DKC2) about a week ago. And that's the Monkey News.
*Update 5/31: I guess I didn't end up doing that! Whoops. It's a lot harder to do without prompts than I thought. Oh well! Maybe I'll spend this evening planning to do it this month instead and do something to address that.
