I suck at drawing people, so on 2018 I wanted to stop sucking
Top collection is from 2018-2019
Studies range from 45min to one hour. Heavily based on grids and tracing.
Middle collection is from mid March to mid April this year
Minor tracing used, I wanted to try do color studies but as I also had to pay attention to face structure and all, it ended up hindering me, so I went back to simpler sketching, no local values taken into account (like skin color).
Bottom collection is from mid April to yesterday. I wanna try do 100 studies in 30 days and so far so good!
These sketches range between 10 to 30 minutes, the goal is to build muscular memory and familiarity.
I could only get past my aversion to human faces because I was looking at handsome people.
Mostly actors and actresses from The Expanse and WestWorld.

You've learned alot it seems! Seeing them all together is interesting. You started out with more tight details and dramatic lighting and got more free with how you drew them as you went. Like it became more natural. Great work, and very inspiring experiment! Keep it up!
