I found a great photographer on DA- and he has wonderful pics of a white draft horse named Charlie- I HAD TO PAINT HIM!

its 8x10- I am staying small so they fit on my scanner..although thats funny cause my scanner WILL NOT see blue. I scanned this and got a blurry grey blob. So sadly I have to photograph it and then photoshop it and ..well lets just say the real piece is leaps and bounds more awesome then this pale shadow...=(

heh, i know this photographer x3 he's gorgweous! and you captured the horse so well I have my troubles with painting such light colours with watercolour. don't ask, I'm used to copics XD

The real painting is actually very light - i brought up the contrast ALOT- cause my scanner wouldnt work! ARG

he seems to have to much main and tail for a percheron...maybe he is a tinker? hard to tell how tall he is...he was totally fun to paint!
