I like this president, but hope she is giving / has given a similar speech to other groups. Application of the word "rouge" aside, the most necessary "crowd control" here may still be the officer corps.

Leaders like this exist in good numbers. It's just that none of them are willing to go through the nonsense necessary to be elected. If they were willing, they would not be a good leader.

I checked the original comic, he WAS the guy that dreamed up the "let's blame the rat" idea.

But they are hiding, how will they find out that they are no longer being blamed. I doubt if they will risk buying anything any more.

There is that but also the worry that it's seen as a lure as well.
As somebody else mentioned there is also the concern that the "Elite"are still sent and need to be brought back in.
She may not know of them and if they strike after he comes out it's going to be a mess.
