I love the colors of the deer. Makes you think of winter, but then you notice the ground is covered with what looks like dead plants, and the trees have no limbs. Maybe the deer is bringing winter to the burned out forest? Maybe he's bringing life back after a fire? I dunno, but I really like it! :]

my perception of reindeer is forever ruined by the glut of videos of upset finns swearing up a storm as derpy reindeer loiter around the roads.
So even at their most majestic, my mind is still spinning up scenarios as to how this glowing forest puppy will end up inadvertently annoying people.
