Cali´lacertas
Those are inhabitants of the planet Fiera. Cali´lacertas have characteristics of reptile but also of avians. Cali´lacertas are split into two main groups: hexacrus and tetracrus (from latin, meaning: six-legged and four-legged). While tetracrus are split into another two semigroups. From all those groups only six races are know today. It's supposed, that other reletives extinct milenia ago and their remains was lost by the time.
Its also clear to mention that tetracrusial Cali´lacertas are mystery to biologists all around the Orion Cygnus because rest of chordates on Fiera are hexacrusial. This fact making them only four-legged species on the planet. Its clear from their skeleton that they have also third pair of limbs. Why? Nobody cleary know. Some scientists theorize this phenomenon is same like on planet Pegasus-A310c where atmospheric changes cause restart of the land life but this theory can´t explain many things like why are not other chordares with only four lims or they fossils, so it was rejected. Is also unknown what forced their flying ancestors to come back to land creatures. Thanks of Dragoniens and Gramlens and their hairs, which turned out to be feathers with stunted barb, we know that their ancestors was wery close to Earth birds in Mesozoic era.
Some also speculate about interference on Fiera life by some of ancient civilizations, but we do not have enough evidence to confirm this theory.
