My Grandmother had the most exquisite peony plants... I never appreciated them growing up but near the end, I took many photos. There was one plant with double blooms like pink silk, that smelt strongly of Roses. It was always my favorite, and I wish I knew it's name.
Sometimes I just need a break from the fantasy and anthropomorphic art... and I miss the garden so, so much.
20hrs Clip studio Paint. Mostly oil brush and blender brushes. Heavily referenced from photos I took of my Grandmother's garden in 2014. Prints will be available on my Redbubble store.

Oh this is a spectacular piece!! I can practically feel the softness of their peddles and the fragrance they omit. Peonies are one of my favorite flowers and just bought some last year for planting this year. I have a giant one on the backyard already and its starting to bloom! Wonderful work!
