Arc 4 begins.
I see this was another long-term effort...May 2002 to March 2003.
Well, for all that time, you get the most-improved part of the WmF? As of this page I decided to do the comic in manga-esque greyscale. I never actually got that good, but if you keep a close eye on things, you will see improvements in the shading, so much so that I finally had to abandon my longtime image-editing mainstay, Arcsoft PhotoStudio 1.0 (yeah, that Win 3.1 thingy) because it could not produce a brush wider than 32 pixels across.
Starting with page 25, I used Micrografx Picture Publisher 8 (and still do today) which had a feature that was a godsend--that being, the app shows you an outline of the size and shape of your brush as you use it. Most other packages at the time (except for Photoshop) left the brush itself invisible, only showing you the effects of the brush as you used it, so you couldn't be entirely sure if a particular brush was positioned correctly until you were actually laying down pixels.
Anyhoo, this story arc will explain the animousity between Tanya and Nei'chelle. Look for more expression, more emotion, more "Acting" in this one.

Naturist, actually :)
Nei'chelle came about in part from the debate over whether furries actually needed clothes since they already came equipped with a natural body covering.
Also, I needed someone to introduce them to pr0n :D
Tanya certainly isn't jealous--she probably noticed her physique. But she has had sort of undeclared leadership position, being the first character created, and now Nei'chelle appears on the scene making a direct attempt to steer it into territory previously thought undesirable (i.e. lots of sex)
