Whew! This was a week's worth of procrastination and three days of sampling, compressing, and pitching audio. I'm actually a bit blown away from how good it sounds (at least to me, leave some critique, please, I encourage it), and I'm excited to make more when I improve my skills.

Armorine! He was gracious enough to let me use the image to hopefully gather a bit more views, so go give him a watch or some favs as thanks.
[0:00]: It's only been a couple hours since you escaped. Clutching your wounded arm, you trod through the forest, listening to the birds as you try to put as much distance between you and your burning village as possible. Who knew what had happened to the other survivors?
[0:13]: A distant roar from behind you forces you to step up your pace, taking a small detour into a thicker part of the vegetation, and you briskly pass everything, the grass and twigs crunching underneath your feet.
[0:31]: You pass by a small creek, the soft bubbling filling you with a sense of false security. You slow your pace, weakly smiling as the gentle sounds calm you slightly.
[0:49]: Your entire body turns to ice as you pause... Was that the beating of wings? Nothing could have found you that fast! You go completely silent, praying that you won't be noticed in the thick underbrush...
[0:54]: It's too late! The beast spotted you! His huff and roar fills your ears as you take off sprinting through the trees, knowing a contest of speed will end very poorly if you don't find a hiding place, and soon, his wings signaling his closing approach.
[1:22]: Your vision is suddenly lit up as the forest in front of you is torched, blocking your only way! You slow down, helplessness gripping your heart as you realize the creature must be right behind you, and surely enough, as you turn around, it's venom-filled eyes lock you in place as it growls with satisfaction at finding you.
[1:29]: Wasting no time, the beast lunges forward, its jaws clamping shut around you. You expect to be chewed to pieces, but the agonizing pain never comes, rather, the dragon swishes you around in its mouth as the fire sizzles faintly outside, clearly getting your taste...
[1:42]: The penultimate moment finally arrives... With a wet smack and a thick swallow, you're sent down... To your eternal fate. Swallowing again, the dragon stretches out as you slide down his throat, a defeated, misshapen lump all that defines your presence.
[1:55]: As you listen to the hauntingly beautiful heartbeat and breathing of the creature, one final swallow to force your demise echoes through your ears, the satisfied beast letting out a rumble as you push inside his stomach, the splash of digestive juices greeting you.
[2:03]: The sounds of the gut immediately surround you, wet squelches and gurgles teasing what's inevitably to come, and you feel the dragon shift, probably laying down to soften his meal up. All you can do now is wait... And listen... And fade away, the soft cacophony of borborygmi the last thing you hear.
I had a blast making this, I've always felt like vorish audio lacked atmosphere, character, and most importantly, squishy sounds! Flesh doesn't crunch or crackle, and it pains me when I hear it in copious amounts when I'm trying to enjoy the sounds of a gut.
But until next time, I'll see you all around~
