Stockholm syndrome.
It is now a couple more minutes before midnight strikes. The moon up above gleams brightly against the surrounding darkness of the night sky, which is quite the incredible sight indeed for a male individual named Arthur. He strolled along the pavements of the streets as numerous vehicles and people pass by all around him, and the bright lights of buildings and lamp posts really give off that generic atmosphere of an active city at nighttime. In Arthur's case, he plans to pay Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria a late-night visit, and surely it's going to take quite a while before he reaches his destination.
Few minutes of continuous walking and he has finally arrived to the parking lot of the establishment. He quickly stumbled upon its locked double doors, soon to be unlocked with him lockpicking with a paper clip stored inside his pocket. After hearing a clicking noise, he then swung the glass doors wide open as if his mission was a success, and started making his way around the inside of the building. He quietly walked past the Prize Corner and the Game Area, where BB seems to be in an inactive state. After passing a couple tables along the way, he took a quick glimpse of the Toy animatronics standing motionless on the Show Stage, before taking a left towards the building's Main Hall.
Arthur comes across the two bathrooms to his right and the Parts/Service room straight ahead. Arthur then chooses to approach the Parts/Services door, and as he reached for the handle he suddenly had this feeling of dread. He remembered seeing the Withered animatronics stored beyond this room, leaving him thoughts of putting himself in possible danger if he chose to enter. He quickly changed his mind and instead turned straight to the huge hallway right next to it, leading to the four Party Rooms and the Office up ahead where there apparently seems to be no guard taking the night shift tonight. However, his dreadful thoughts grew even more as he could feel some sort of presence stalking behind him, but there turns out to be nothing after looking back. Unbeknownst to him though, dark matter started sprouting out of his shadow from behind, and in a swift motion they all latched around the helpless Arthur, leaving him to struggle against his will. Before passing out completely, he caught a glimpse of a purple figure with white irises looking back at him right before his vision fades to black.
Arthur soon woke up and regained his bearings after that sudden incident. He finds himself still standing in the center of the huge hallway, but it isn't the same hallway he remembered earlier as everything looks like it's completely tinted in purple. It felt to him like he is looking inside a night-vision camera, but the usual green light is instead replaced with a purplish light. Not only that, but everything looked much larger than before, as if either he had been shrunken down to a much smaller size, or the establishment expanded vastly all around him. Arthur is soon filled with worry over the situation he is currently in right now, and that worry grew even more as he heard sudden thumps behind him. He slowly turned to his back to find a pair of massive feet present in front of him. Arthur began shivering in fear as his eyes navigate up above to find a muscular bear in purple glaring down at him, who seemed to look quite similar to the decommissioned Freddy inside the Parts/Services room. Arthur is left paralyzed in intense fear over what he's seeing in front of his eyes, and the booming voice of the gigantic being before him didn't help in freeing him from his petrified state.
"What do you think you are doing, barging in this restaurant late at night? Such a disgrace you are to ever have the nerve of committing such a horrible thing..."
Arthur, however, is left speechless. He really couldn't urge himself to blurt out whatever it is that he wanted to say.
"Avoiding the question from the looks of it. Sounds like you require some disciplinary action for what you did..."
Before the bear could execute what he plans to do with poor Arthur, the male individual eventually snapped out of it and was able to yell out to the titan reaching down for him.
"W-wait! I know I barged myself inside, but I am not a robber robbing this place, or an arsonist planning to burn this establishment to ashes! P-please, have mercy on me! If you want, I can do s-something for you if it means setting myself free, just PLEASE don't hurt me!"
Luckily for Arthur, the incoming hand stopped right in its tracks and retracted back. The purple Freddy then crouched down, cocking an eyebrow upon hearing Arthur mention that he will "do something for it" in hopes that he can gain his freedom, as long as he is given a second chance. It surely caught the bear's interest.
"And what would that be, Arthur? What is it that you want to do for ME to give YOU a chance at freedom?"
Arthur was extremely shocked to hear the bear mention his name. He wanted to ask how he even knew about his identity, but the bear might think that he's avoiding the question again and will probably proceed instead with the punishment planned just for him. He is given a hard time thinking of one because of the glare the bear's giving him. The size and body structure of this giant bear really intimidated Arthur to the core. He couldn't help thinking of what the bear could possibly do that can hurt him, or even worse, kill him. He looked back up to see it squinting sternly as if waiting really impatiently for a response, pressuring Arthur even further. He eventually came up with an answer, but this one really gives him second thoughts. He wanted to respond that he will worship the bear's massive purple feet for a chance at freedom, but he doubts that it will count as an answer to the bear's question. However, Arthur decided to take the risk since he has no other choice and he might be in a time limit right now.
"I... I choose to worship you as my duty, or more specifically, worship your feet...for a chance of gaining my freedom..."
Long silence. Arthur already felt like he's completely done for at this point, and looked down as if he's a young child being disciplined by their parents. He was really ready to face the consequences of his actions. However, there seemed to be nothing happening. Arthur looked up once more to find the purple Freddy with both of its eyebrows raised up in a mix of surprise and confusion. The bear then placed its right hand to its chin to think about what it just heard, then gazed back at Arthur with the same stern look from before, intimidating Arthur once more.
"What...kind of request is that? I never thought I would hear a request such as that to be chosen as one's duty. Are you really sure you want to choose 'worshipping my feet' as your duty under me, despite the massive size difference between us two?"
"Y-yes... That is my final decision..."
Another long silence. Both Arthur and the purple Freddy are exchanging stares with each other, until the bear stood up and began spreading its arms apart like a magician casting a spell of some sort. He could then see dark purple clouds forming out of the bear's hands, and Arthur began to feel a numbing sensation all around him, causing him to clench his teeth in pain until he had completely blacked out from the dark matter surrounding him once more. Not too long after, he soon regained his consciousness once again and found himself in a large black-and-purple checkerboard room. It felt really empty knowing that not a single decoration is present around the room, not even a bed, closet, door, window, or anything at all. He suddenly jerked his head to his right when he notices the purple Freddy emerging from a mass of swirling dark purple clouds, holding what seems to be an ordinary type of book on its right hand. It surprised Arthur to see that the purple bear is levitating itself off of the ground, as if it's a ghost of some sort.
"About time you finally woke up, Arthur..."
"Wait, where am I now? Where did you bring me?"
"I brought you to my home... Well, not exactly my home, but rather, just a place for a being like me to live in."
Upon hearing out the bear, Arthur somehow couldn't help himself but feel a slight pity towards the Freddy-like being knowing that it only lives by itself in this place. He imagines to himself on what it must have felt like being lonely for the rest of your life. He instantly snapped out of that thought as he sees the titanic bear lowering itself down the floor in a pose similar to that of a French girl. The bear then dropped the book it was carrying down the floor with care, and Arthur could tell from the movements of its irises that it's still reading whatever it is that is written in that book. Those irises darted quickly towards him and the bear cocked an eyebrow once again.
"Alright, it is time for you to start your duty now, Arthur. Show me that you deserve a second chance..."
"Y-yes...master..."
Those irises darted back at him again, and the bear makes out an expression as if it was weirded out over the little guy referring to it as a "master".
"Master? What an odd word of choice to call me, but no worries, I don't feel insulted at all. Just refer to me as Shadow Freddy from now on, you got that?"
"Yes, master Shadow Freddy."
Shadow Freddy's expression turned into slight annoyance when he's referred as "Master Shadow Freddy" instead of just his name, but he didn't mind it that much at all as he simply darted his irises back to the book he had been so busy reading on. Meanwhile, Arthur had initiated the session of worshipping Shadow Freddy's feet just like he said to himself. He gave it some good rubs and even snuggled up against the meaty soles of Shadow Freddy's feet, which gave Arthur this sensational feeling despite the fact that he is literally tending to his captor's feet. He then tried licking against the purple soles, which Shadow Freddy could notice because of the sticky saliva from Arthur's tongue spreading all around, but he once again didn't mind it that much since he knows Arthur is only doing his job in order to gain his freedom someday. Will Arthur emerge successful in this next mission of freeing himself from the grasps of his captor, or will he be unsuccessful and remain with Shadow Freddy for all eternity?
