So, ever since I saw 
VenvaTio's draconic fellas Shen And Liv ( https://www.furaffinity.net/view/35159491/ ) I was inspired to make dragon hybrids of my persona and partner. I made changes to their dragon style in an attempt to make them unique, but I'm sure by doing so I'm probably ripping off someone else's characters; if so, it was unintentional, my apologies.
I've also spent more time on this background than probably any other background I've ever made for myself. I just finished reading Lady Trent's Natural History of Dragons series by Marie Brennan (was excellent, definitely recommend!) and the last book takes place in a mountainous land, which made me want to look up cool pictures of mountains as I've never even seen mountains in RL, and here we are. I used pictures of Canada's Torngat Mountains national park for reference...this made my hand sore but I'm happy with how it turned out.
My partner is the best. He would carry me anywhere....

It's one of my favourite series, but it's nine books in total and it has its ups and downs. There is a lot of cruelty to dragons, especially in the first novel, but the series works towards making the world a better place for them.
It is sort of a historical setting, which I normally don't like, but it hasn't stopped me from enjoying them. There are a lot of fantasy elements too, which I can't really share without giving spoilers.
