The picture on the left depicts what most Nomarii believe what the reality looks like. At first there was Chaos which gave birth to itself and expanded through the never-ending void. Chaos spread its matter throughout the void until it couldn't see neither end of its own existence. Soon after that Chaos felt a great grief in its own being and decided to create itself an equal to share its creation with. As he'd said he'd done and Chaos eventually became a brother to Cosmos - the first Lore Father.
Cosmos grew a whimsical figure bringing light, warmth and color to Chaos' cold world. Worlds arisen and fell and at some point in time Cosmos created a rocky ball he spontaneously "Plotos". For millennia Plotos warped and changed, enduring the outer elements of Cosmos' making. Eventually Cosmos decided to gave Plotos a light, a tiny star that was later named The Eye of Dawn. The Eye was strong and warmed the rocky ball, melting the icy crust and pushing the magmatic nature of the planet back underground. Chaos and Cosmos both enjoyed the sight.
Hundreds of years later a great tragedy happened. Cosmos turned the other way for a splinter of moment when Chaos pushed another planet in Ploto's direction, making them collide. The planet shattered and split into four separate bodies - creating the Pale Sister, Globetrotter and the Locksmith. Cosmos was furious and questioned Chaos what were his motives. Chaos explained that Cosmos should give more attention to him - as his creator - than his lowly interest. That day Cosmos abandoned his brother in vision of independence.
Chaos let him go but deep inside his vast body he felt a deep anguish and an urge to destroy. Destroy Cosmos' work and maybe destroy his own creation as well. For millennia Chaos sabotaged Cosmos' work until one day, from the other corner of the universe, one of Cosmos' earlier creations arrived. A race of ancient trees, fleeing Chaos' wrath and finding haven on Plotos. Cosmos then realized there is something more important than his own existence - in it the existence on others. And so he decided to hide his creations among the stars. He worked tirelessly for hundreds of years, creating everything we know today and pushing Chaos back into his pitch black void.
Plotos, unfortunately, was present in the very darkest corner of the universe, lit by a single star and watched by a few other dim lights. With his last attempt he created a magical barrier that was supposed to shield Nomariia of Chaos' wrath. Cosmos himself knew that his magic won't last an eternity so he put a tablet with the Prophecy in the very heart of the landmass of Plotos and tasked the ancient trees of safekeeping it. Then, in secrecy, Cosmos shattered a part of his own body across Plotos and left and was never seen again.
The Ancient Trees feared the wrath of a higher being and held a quiet meeting among each other. Some argued that they should live their life until they have time, others that they should prepare for the day of judgement, described on the tablet as The Eternal Night. They never settled on a decision and so Trees remained in the world, creating Marii as their servants and caretakers. Others however disappeared from the surface of Plotos underground in search of answers for the tragedy awaiting them. And they found it...
