Yea i understand , a beam of light or spastic random bursted lightning are totally diffrent. I did follow a blender tutorial where it looked like an orb or something whas running over a metal surface and had these little light spikes but that whas more of the materials connecting to the orb or something. So as a starter an orb on a stick with light comming out can be a good beginning, like low voltage rubbing against the skin.
