It is still undiscovered as to why subspecies of Michie Snakes exist with such unnatural coloration.

Archive: The Michie snake are a common beast among Dolivia, ranging from around 5 different color patterns, yet all easily distinct from eachother and are found, post abandon, around more specific locales than just around the forest. Each snake also has their own color coded personality and are consistently massive, large enough to swallow up to 3 tribesmen.
For instance, the common Michie, a green snake, is found in the wilderness everywhere as are known for their pleasant, friendly nature towards prey and strangers alike.
Then we have the Red Michie who's more of a host for both invited and uninvited guests, able to make one feel rather welcome to their coil-y abode.
To paraphrase the other 3:
Pink Michie are known cuddlers and have always been affectionate to all passing by Tribesmen.
Black Michie are into more dominant voreplay, such as claiming meals, long term endo, and even sexual play with their bellies.
And Purple Michie Snakes love to keep their prey in a subdued state, constantly weakening them with gels, or hypnosis, or even gentle puffs of sweet smelling gas within their tummy.
