Nourishing noodles with a selection of beautiful vegetables from the kitchens of auroraborealia
******************************
Ingredient list:
Package of Udon noodles.
Serrano peppers (4 decent sized ones per serving, or more or less depending on preference)
4 or more Shiitake mushrooms.
Note: You can add or subtract any veggies that you want!
Stock of your choice, of powdered stock that comes with the noodles.
Step one: Get Udon noodles. It can be any brand, but the ones in the picture are my favorite.
Step two: Wash your Serrano peppers, and shiitake mushrooms (WASH THESE -VERY- WELL!), and put in at least two cups of water into a pot and bring to a boil.
Step three: Put stock/bouillon cube in water.
Step four: De-stem the washed mushrooms and cut the peppers into small slices. Also cut a "X" into the tops of the mushroom caps. This will help release some flavor into the stock.
Step five: When water / stock comes to a boil and completely dissolves, put the noodles in the water.
Step six: When noodles begin to break apart, add your vegetables.
Step seven: Let noodles boil with vegetables for at LEAST three minutes.
Step eight: Turn off heat, and move soup from pot to bowl.
Step nine: ENJOY YOUR SOMEWHAT MORE DELICIOUS AND NUTRITIOUS THAN MARUCHAN RAMEN FOOD.
