So here's a new species I came up with. Haven't seen toooo many things like it. I know it's not very original but I don't care. :P
Gryttins
Scientific Name Felis Gryphus Pusillus
Size Adults are roughly about one-and-a-half times bigger than your average house cat
Coloring varies, both 'natural' coloration and vibrant colors are both found
Physical Traits Large fluffs of fur on front legs regardless of short or long haired bodies; a thick scruff between the back of their head and neck and powerful feathered wings. (Though now and then a rare leathery-winged Gryttin will be seen, but it is highly uncommon) Coloring and tail size vary (natural/fantastical, long/short-fluffy-sleek)
Diet Mostly fowl but with the occasional large rodent
Background/Behavoir (In General)
Shy and quiet when first aquatinted, have been known to flee and are very difficult to befriend let alone come close to. Fiercely loyal, intelligent, and protective of "their" charge - whoever or whatever them deem to be that charge. Personality varies upon Gryttin, but as a whole they are lovable and trusting once well familiarized. It is said that though they are hard to connect to, a Gryttin is more loyal than a dog and braver than a lion in the worst of dangers.
This is just a preview and rough outline of the Gryttin species. I'm planning on making $1 adoptables of them sometime in the near future, depends on how many people like this concept.
