These commuter flights were always the worst. The pressurization was usually off and the overhead too close… seats somehow more uncomfortable. As they got up to altitude he had started to puff out, annoyed that he was still swelling. He had let out a little air before getting on the flight, but clearly, they were getting higher than anticipated. At least he had been in the single seat aisle… and the attendant should be along soon now that they leveled off.
I feel kinda weird when I leave the theme field empty as I submit something… Now I can fill it. I’ve never considered normally inflated pooltoy or balloon characters inflation, I think you need to have that cartoony aspect where a character is overinflating, or a parade balloon sized character. Then again, I’m the guy who gets triggered when someone calls vinyl, rubber.

DeanFox of his poor self going a little too high on a flight. I do enjoy the odd conversations we sometimes have. This is the product of one of them, the idea being brought up a while back that in aircraft there is still some pressure loss when they go up to altitude; and ho much it would stink to be an inflatable/balloon critter in that situation. Here is the much delayed product of that conversation.

What he has is a full/normal knot. Half a knot is where the lips of the balloon are literally half way through the knot and it is usually much easier to untie. There are specially made and repurposed (usually plastic food bag) clips that are used to forgo a knot entirely and close the neck that way. Much easier on the fingers.
