I've been meaning to do this song for nine years.

Originally, I wanted to use it as the finale of the Rock Band Wars, what is now Chapter 53. But the complexity was daunting, and I was pressed for time. So, it got cut.

I hinted that The Beach Bears would eventually sing it with the intro to Pleasant Valley Sunday, where Birch coaches Stargazer on the bass part; and in Chapter 138: Forever In Blue Jeans, where you can hear Birch working on the song until he gets interrupted.

Well, I was getting frustrated with the progress I was making on Life Goes On, and decided, finally to dig in and get this song done.

Nine years from when I first decided to do it. It's not perfect, but it's done.
