Comparison between PAW Patrol and Thunderbirds
Ever since I've seen PAW Patrol, I've had this thought that the pups are pretty much the canine equivalent of International Rescue from Thunderbirds. Here's what I consider the similarities between the two organizations.
Scott/Chase: Scott and Chase are both natural born leaders of their respective teams and are second-in-command to International Rescue's Jeff Tracy and PAW Patrol's Ryder. When it comes to the safety of the team, Scott and Chase tend to be stern and by-the-book, but have no problem relaxing when they're off-duty.
Virgil/Rubble: Both deal with heavy-duty machinery, yet Rubble mostly deals with construction while Virgil handles emergency demolition should it be required in a rescue. Virgil and Rubble both look tough on the outside, but are kindhearted inside.
Alan/Marshall: Alan may be the youngest of the Tracy brothers while Marshall is pretty much the clumsiest of the pups, but both are serious when it comes to rescuing those in need. They both care about the safety of others and are ready to leap into danger in order to help.
Gordon/Zuma: Zuma pretty much has the same fascination with water as Gordon does. Earlier Zuma could only perform rescues above-water, but ever since the introduction of his submarine, he could now perform underwater rescues. Gordon and Zuma both have somewhat lay-back personalities and enjoy a lot of things revolving around water.
John/Rocky: There's not a lot I can think about to explain the similarities between John and Rocky. In some ways, they both deal with electronics – Rocky uses his radar scanner to locate lost stuff while John uses his scanner to pick up emergency calls and monitor situations.
Kayo/Skye: Much like John and Rocky, not a lot to go on except for the fact that Kayo and Skye are the only girls in both teams (at least Skye was prior to Everest's debut).
International Rescue/PAW Patrol: The PAW Patrol employs a number of conventional rescue vehicles designed to operate on land, sea or air while International Rescue has its fleet of Thunderbirds. IR operates both globally and in space while PAW Patrol primarily operates locally around the town of Adventure Bay, but in some ways has slowly gone somewhat international.
If anyone can think of other similarities between the pups and the Tracys, let me know in the comments.

From what I can tell... Apart from the fact that both of them are bald, the Hood and Mayor Humdinger are the primary antagonists to both the PAW Patrol and the Thunderbirds.
Humdinger mainly just causes mischief and other problems either to cheat in competitions or to satisfy his inflated ego. But despite him disliking Ryder and the PAW Patrol for continually interfering with his schemes, he is willing to ask them for help whenever he finds himself in trouble, albeit reluctantly.
The Hood on the other hand is an international criminal mastermind who is more than willing to put innocent people in harm's way and steal classified technologies and/or materials in order to build his criminal empire. His primary focus is essentially to take control of International Rescue and overthrow the Tracys.
In addition, the Kitten Catastrophe Crew are just like the Chaos Crew. However, while the kittens are somewhat reluctant to obey Humdinger's orders and show very little interest, Fuse and Havoc are more than willing to obey the Hood's commands and enjoy causing trouble across the globe. Although by the end of the series, Fuse somewhat began to show remorse for what he did.
