When building a model railroad it is quite important to pick a location to base your scenery upon. Naturally I picked the 60 or so mile radius around where I live and model my railroad on the lines that inhabit that radius. In that radius there's a branch line that I visit quite often with a factory at the end that builds semi trailers and ships them out by rail. At my job we work on a lot of these trailers so I decided to model both of these places. Everything from the building itself to the yard tugs are 99.9% accurate to how it is at my job. The only difference being that we don't have a rail spur to ship trailers out on. It's just quite a strange feeling getting off from work and then seeing the very thing you just left from.
