I wanted to go with Rampage World Tour, but we wanted something that could be passed down and be remembered.
Here we go, off the trail,
Did you know it's time to raise our tails?
It's freedom like you never knew.
Don't need bags, just our paws.
Say the world, we'll stomp their in a flash.
You could say our tour is coming to you.
Oh, we can thoom all the way to the Moon, from!
This great wide wacky world.
Jump on towns with me.
Grab some trinkets with me.
Oh yeah!
I wanted to go a bit further with the song, but I think this suffices at least for now. I'll probably come back to it later and do a bit of an update.
Anyway, this wonderful artwork came from the creation of an idea that I've been holding onto for quite some time actually, The idea itself was a combination of Rampage World Tour and a bit of Super Mario Odyssey, particularly how you put stickers on the Odyssey itself when you visit the different worlds. Both of them are pretty fun games, let you explore things, get a feel for the world around you and make a big world feel just a little bit closer. Although, I wonder what happened to the cities or countries that we had visited. I hope we can get some pictures after we finish the tour!
The big green emerald dragon that's there with me is the marvelous Tyrnn, one of the first artists that I had run across when I showed up in this community. He's been nothing bud kind, nice, knowledgeable and he consistently works to make the world a bigger and better place. To me, he is one of my best friends, who helped me figure out some things about myself, help me grow more into the person I am today, and helped me feel accepted into the community during my first convention at Anthrocon close to 5 years ago. I honestly can't believe it's been that long. He is truly wonderful and a blast to be around, so give him a poke, and check out his work when you can. Or he might just stretch and thoom through your town. Who knows.
The artwork itself was also made by Stonerabbit, who I have talked about a few times already. I actually started to commission them a few years ago, when they gifted me an artwork of Manny stomping forward onto some tiny people, which was really nice of him. He's been kind and very nice to talk to ever since, at least when there's a chance to have a conversation, and the one cool things is he has always made the ideas I have given him stand out, much like it was done here. Thank you for the Stone, you are awesome.
Anyway, today is also my birthday! I am turning 28 years old! So, woo!
