Meet Rose and Violet, Zer's (and by proxy, Anna's) faithful sword twin maids. I say sword maids because they are quite literally living, sapient swords that can take on human forms. Their full names are Rose and Violet Torrigwain and, before meeting Zeranno, used to be a single entity named Gladiolus. Gladiolus was... well, let's just say she was an incredibly dangerous sword. I'll post something about her later.

Going back to Rose and Violet, their true forms are those of elemental long swords. Rose, the pink-haired twin, possesses a fiery hot blade while Violet, the blue-haired one, has a chillingly cold ice blade. Both can summon copies of their swords that dissipate after a period of time. Additionally, their bodies can freely shift between humanoid and bladed forms, allowing them to literally slice something in half by swinging one of their arms.

In terms of personality, Violet is something of a romantic who loves to read. Rose, on the other hand, is somewhat clumsy. Despite that, she's incredibly earnest and determined to do her job well. The twins are incredibly close, caring very much for each other. Sometimes, they care a bit more than many would find appropriate. As I've mentioned before, Anna is something of a pervert... So she doesn't mind at all. In fact, she loves having a couple of cute twin maids willing to have fun with her. The two share the last name Torrigwain, the name of the smith that created their original form.

If it isn't obvious, Rose and Violet are largely based on Rem and Ram from Re:Zero, but they also take heavy inspiration from Felicia and Flora from Fire Emblem: Fates, two more twin maids with pink and blue themes. Additionally, they get a good deal of inspiration from Fi from Zelda: Twilight Princess (and Ghirahim, specifically his powers) and Reverie Metherlence from Elemental Gelade, with part of their hair being a nod to Saber from Fate/stay night. Finally, their elements were derived from the Material Blade from Tales of Symphonia... Jeez, these two have a lot of inspirations.
