While exploring a dark dungeon, Butch is startled as a shadowy figure lurches toward him. He puts up his guard, holding his boulder-hammer at the ready. As it shuffles into the torchlight, he can clearly see that this creature is a giant ghoul! An undead wretch who hungers for the flesh of the living, and whose scratch can render a man paralyzed! The creature swipes at him but he dodges. It hisses and demands a taste of his warm meat! The magical gem fixed to Butch's belt flashes as he swings his hammer mightily. The creature is knocked senseless and falls to the stone floor. He plants a boot on its head to make sure it stays down. Only as the ghoul's gurgling dies to silence does Butch realize another of the creatures had been creeping up on him! It's far too close for comfort. As he readies another swing of his hammer he hopes to himself that his tough skin is enough to resist the paralyzing scratch.
