Finally got a decent pic of my Steampunk based character Octavian up. Adorned with the ever so overused goggles. x3
This is the first time I've ever colored in Corel Painter. Before I only used it for inking.. but.. I went out on a limb. I still need a grip load of practice, but I think I did alright for my first try. Thanks to
Merystic for giving me some pointers! She's the total master at that program.
Ugh, I couldn't figure out what to do with his lower half.. so.. it's just randomly disappearing. Totally doesn't go with the flow of the picture but oh well. He was also holding some welding machinery (because he's a welder, hur hur) but I took that out.
Stock and texture used from Tigg-Stock and Princess-of-Shadows.
Mediums: #2 mechanical pencil, Corel Painter 11 and Photoshop CS3.
Octavian Black belongs to ©Me.
