TBH I've been struggling with hyper-focusing on the story. ^^;; But it's also a good way to rest my wrists after drawing for a bit so that I don't hurt myself again.
That said, I've got the benefit of the skeleton of the story and some of the dialogue already done, which definitely helps with the speed. The parts where I'm putting it together from nothing or almost nothing (CH 16, for instance) take a lot longer.

Okay, "Angel Shade" is one of the most amazing concepts ever. Just... the ability to completely insult someone with cool matter-of-fact discipline. :)
Dev is still amazing, the thought of him as Elle's Demon Godmother is so much fun!
Also, wonderful taste there for Elle. The original Grimm's Fairy Tales, while dark, are some of the best.

I know that other games (Disgaea and Shin Megami Tensei respectively) conditioned us to be wary of angels, but I love Simeon, tbh. He's just... like that. All the time.
I do really like Dev! I'm going to have to sit down and draw him at some point. [looks at the pile of stuff to do] ^^;; Some point.
I've been trying to narrow down Elle's tastes so that she doesn't like everything all the time; I cut out some side commentary regarding video games (partially because I have no interest in shipping her with Levi) and a couple of other things, but I thought that reference was too good. I read them when I was younger and started to realize that Disney was a very idealized re-telling and whoooaaaaa!
They say that big readers make the best writers; so, your taste in fiction explains a lot.
