I wanted to tell you a piece of my real life story that makes the art you did particularly meaningful. I have PTSD, and one of the most triggering things for me has been swimming. This fursona has helped me conquer my disorder in the form of imagining Somer enjoying swimming before going in the water myself. The way Somer looks confident and relaxed in this picture in a swimsuit by the ocean is almost like a celebration of what I have accomplished with Somer, and inspires me to continue to fight how my PTSD still makes me feel when I go swimming. Completely unrelated: it is my birthday today, and while coincidental, your art has contributed to me enjoying it.
