It didn't blow up after twenty seconds like all the others did, and that was all it took for Kazooie to grow attached to that little time bomb as if it were her own child.
Twelve hours later, the metallic bird still hasn't gone off, yet the ticking won't stop. Maybe she was right about her mechnical offspring being completely harmless.
Still, Banjo isn't taking any chances tonight.
