Ioxial and Carth have a slightly complicated relationship with the dragon wanting to be with the mystical kirin since well before his finding his salvation in him but unable to bring himself to do it as he feels he will corrupt something so pure with his soiled hands. Ioxial himself is conflicted as he has never felt this way about another before throughout his many years and lifetimes. Love is a complicated thing....
