That log bed is what you'll find typically in a lazy villager's starter house, only if your native fruit is anything but pears (which the latter will have a pear bed instead). And speaking of diapers, when villagers of such a personality are too lazy to get up in the middle of their sleep and go potty; and then when they wake up (the same time Nook's Cranny opens if you do or don't use Early Bird Ordinance), they'll have a dry bed but a wet and/or messy diaper that needs changing.
