Meet Eve. Eve is a cute skunk-girl who's a little shy, but loves apples, and wants to find just the right "Adam."
This was a quick pencil sketch I did for
patchesnamaki at Furry Weekend Atlanta 2010. With her original full name being "Eve Genesis," Patches went on to explain how she's meant to share some similarities with her biblical counterpart. I thought that the fact that she loves apples (the fruit, not the computer) was such a cute and subtle character point, that she deserved an art trade sketch. He was surprised that no one else had ever really picked up on the apple thing. And people say I'm a godless heathen. PFAH! ^o^

Thanks! I do usually start with circles and ovals for bodies, just to get the basic idea of where everything is and what the proportions are. The actual body details, though, are freehanded with the circles as a guide. There's no single way to do it, but this one works for me right now.
