This was another issue for Mayternity 2020.

This time, it is based loosely on the events of the COVID19 pandemic, and what it is putting many the mother-to-be, who are pregnant during this pandemic, through.

In this case, it was a "What If" moment, as it came to me in a flash. Supposing Mei Li was massively pregnant, and confined to her home for lockdown, and unable to go to the hospital, she'd have to have the baby in the comforts of her home, with only her daughter Lin, to assist her during labor.

(NOTE: I came up with two edits, as I couldn't decide whether Mei Li should be wearing her maternity top and pants fully, or have them ridden, exposing her orange & striped belly, as the baby kicking about inside, as giving the mother a head's up (but not Braxton Hicks)...)

Mind you, with the events that look place earlier this week; https://www.kevinandkell.com/2020/kk0509.html it looks as if this prediction back in September 2017, shortly after Lindesfarne gave birth to Turvy; https://www.furaffinity.net/view/24965957/ might now be coming true in the very near future for Leona & Carl (still, the strip before the enclosed one is ONE way to stave off boredom during lockdown)...

All we need now is for a pregnancy to run the same time in Kevin & Kell, Safe Havens and On the Fastrack and we'll be laughing to the maternity ward (after all, they do have three weddings happening all at once at the moment)

Guess all we can do is now keep an eye on the comics for the time being.
