Oh, golly! It is nice to see you sharing this piece as, truly, I think a lot on it.
Last week, I uploaded the file before my tele-therapy session, along with others, to try and not talk the whole session away. My therapist really appreciated the picture and was able to help me sort out a lot of up-in-the-air emotions I've been coping with.
The description you gave for this picture is the basis of my truest 'safe and happy place'. Initially as a dad for my own son as I remember doing this for him. Then, with over a decade of massive traumas, I see it for where I can just know, even if just in-character, I am safe, loved, and can just rest.
Thanks so very much for doing this work for me, Plinkers. It will stay in my personal top 10 for the amount of meaning combined with the artist who did it. :)
