No need for that kind a language. But as sexy as Apple is and regardless of her reasons, your right, this is quite selfish and hurtful. And on the guy's birthday no less(c'mon Dutch, that's adding a bit TOO much salt on the wound, I think) and given I'm a child of unfaithful divorce, kinda hits home. While all three are at fault in their own way, Apple better be ready to learn a lesson, cause not a fan of hers at the moment.

Apparently, every comic has a character that is just unlikable or is very selfish to a new low. Rascals has Chrissy, Misty has Apple, and Las Lindas has Rachel. I really don’t care for Apple at all, but still, I admire Dutch and his stories, and hopefully, Apple gets some justice coming

I love his art and writing too. Funny how that she's learned in villainy from comics, tv, books and whatnot AND has a devil on her shoulder of a mad Titan who wiped out half the universe to just impress death herself, but can't recognize when she's being the bad guy. She did cross it, yes, with all those actions. She has some ways to go to come back to the light. Lucky for her, Missy's pretty great.

Yes. and Misty is great. She’s very relatable from the beginning to the present. Mora from Las Lindas was irritating at the beginning and mellowed out, Chrissy from Rascals, well she’s a spoiled brat still. But Misty has shown she’s good, yet not perfect, and learns from her mistakes

While being relatable can be a boon at times, if shouldn't always be the foundation for who one should be. It's a delicate rope, relatability, inspiration and character building, but I understand what your trying to say.

Seems most the comments on here so far describe how selfish Apple is. It's not her fault she's into girls. I bet in a parallel universe, her boyfriend is totally gay and he would react in the same manner.

The point to that comment is that she's just being her and expressing and experiencing herself in what she loves. There's also words describing that: Freewill and Infinite Choices.

Jazz, while I applaud you for trying to humanize and understand Apple and not try to decorate her as the root of all evil, your explanation is kind of giving focus on WHY people are angry with her.

Yes, it's not her fault she's into girls even though it's late after marrying someone she thought she loved that way but realizes that's not the case to her core being. And she's more than welcome to express and experience that love. But the matter of scrutiny is what you pointed out: Freewill and Choices.

Even though flaws can be important, why did she choose to immediately cheat with a lover who's name we may never learn and not talk to her now divorced husband, to try and settle things with eachother in a better way than how it happened that makes everyone, Apple Especially, come off a giant jerk.

Whether he's gay in another universe or not or Apple straight in another or even one choice being made in one universe and the opposite in another is not the issue. In this universe, the universe she lives in, she chose poorly, and caused a lot of hurt. And she needs to be held accountable for that and the other bad choices she's made. And then needs redemption.

Hey they learned from it. He was a simp. The feeling has to be mutual. She found out that she liked girls. She has to now deal with someone that is isn't into her and doesn't know her lust for them. So there's room for improvement. Characters need flaws.

Yes, Toby, they certainly do. But how to handle those flaws, ease and even possibly absolve them, is also important. Well just have to wait and see where the story goes.

What gets me is the very last panel where she sips her tea. It's the expression of "how dare he ask for sex one last time after he caught me cheating on him. Yeah, it was his birthday and I'd completely forgotten about it, but how DARE HE want to have sex with ME. My cheating and audacious denial of his request was completely justified!" At least that's how it came off to me.
