A Bit of Sanita & Ashley & Edgar- Chibis For CHARITY
Good evening to all of you sultry and sexy survivors of the modern-day plague!
So, still working on an assortment of things for a few friends, some images of this and that, inbetween tasks of different styles and tones, I often have to break off and work on another image, something cuter or sexier, more funny, ya know? So, as is often the case, I come back to drawing Sanita and our little son EdgarVincent- often in little chubby, stunted chibi bodies. So, here are a few of 'em, another collection of chibis of mi ardilla esposa
Sanita_Squirrel nuestro hijo, Edgar Vincent and I, this time in colour! Perhaps not colour to make Ted Turner weep, but I'd like to think I do a pretty good job.
I love you, ardilla- more than you may ever understand.
Did I date myself with the Ted Turner colorization reference? *head tilts* Maybe? Erf. Does he still do that? Weirdo... Hey, do any of you lovely folkes recall when this art style was called "Super-Deformed"? *itches at her nose* I do.
Anypoop- stay safe out there, fuzzy funbags and fluffy floofbutts, scaly... "S"... something. Crap. Alliteration has failed me. Things are pretty crazy and we need to keep cool heads to make it through this mess, ALL of us, together. No Gods and No Masters. One World and One Love. Big Love, everybody. Ave Lucifer.

*Tips her hat to the Matron and offers a blossom* "Scaly-Scalliwags" maybe?
I don't know that Good old Billionaire Ted is still in that game, Matron. Thank Satan for that. What he did to those movies was a crime against the classics. Didn't he colorize Universal's Frankenstein? How can you even THINK that's okay?

*accepts the bloom and inhales the scent* I could swear that he did. I watched so much Monstervision back then, it's all a blur but it really seems like it. I never understood what that man's deal was with putting black and white movies into that weird pastel palette-swap filter. I'm sure he meant well but it wasn't pleasant at best and in some cases, it was a fucking sacrilege of cinema.
*She threads a frond through both eyeholes of her falseface* It was HIDEOUS! I don't know that I've ever seen a proper image of Whale's design but I can't imagine that Karloff had been decorated in QUITE that shade of *she throws up her hands* What do you even call that mess? Puce? And his lovely blue-green overcoat and slacks just gave his ensemble such a flair... *she titters in her ivory visage* VERY chic.
YES! *the demoness claps her hands together* YES! Thank you! What the fuck was wrong with it being in black and white? Was the notion so antiquated that Turner felt it had to be updated in such a slapdash fashion, taking a classic, one of the pillars of modern horror- no, not just horror but modern movies, period- and reducing it to an eyesore? You don't put a MAGA hat on the Mona Lisa. You don't put a "Epic Lulz" t-shirt on Munch's Scream. That's what Teddy boy did!
