Hi-Five
Name: Tai
Age: ???
Biography: Tai is a bugaboo, a monster determined to frighten children. In recent centuries if not millenia, Tai has always fed off the fear of small children and situated in hauntings in homes until he has been removed from the premises. Tai wouldn't hurt a soul, it is more the fact fear for him is akin to eating a can of soup, a breakfast or lunch, it is instinctual, however, when Tai is rarely befriended by a human, when curiosity and bravery overcomes fear, Tai can be a supernatural and fascinating companion, aslong as the youth in question gives him other children and others to scare every now and again.
Tai would revert to that of a childs toy, being carried in the backpack of said child and as he grows stronger, he however will attract the attention of other supernatural beings into said child's life, some mischievous, some helpful, some harmful. It is at this point there would be a dire crossroads of letting go of Tai or keeping him, which has profound consequences of the future, as Tai will relentlessly fight for his new childhood companion to his last breath, but it also spells a irreversible future of the child possibly growing into a 'Shinigami' and living behind a life of normalcy and peace, to become more sensitive, attracted and attuned to spirits, supernatural energy and monsters, as he gets older, that which could be said to be almost irreversible, 'Ties with a Bugaboo past the extent of a mere scare in the dead of the night, are said to be a curse completely unwanted'
It is of course, very rare for Tai to be connected with a human, he simply acts on instinct and then some, going back his fear meal cravings. It is said there is a occasion if the connection between a child and Tai has grown so much, then violently begins to split, Tai will attempt to devour the child whole.
