Kye Detzen
Kye is a mouse. He is an only child. He lost both his parents at a young age. He has a love for technology and is a wiz with computerized equipment. Kye doesn't have a lot of self confidence. He is very shy and prefers his work. Around Spenser he is much different. Without parents they spent a lot of time together in the young federates training. Parentless children are often raised on base by commanding officers. He has a strong bond with Spenser and trust him when he himself is not sure. Kye has no mate Kye is the fix it man for skyforce, though sometimes he needs help too. His position in the federation was Mech Tech. They act as co pilots and maintenance men.
The main set of the comic is that the four members of Skyforce were framed for a military crime. They escaped custody by stealing experimental inventions called "Sky Boards"
The main villain force is lead by "Chaos"
Kye is 17
Kye is shorter than the other sky force guys. He has grey blue fur. His belly underarm and groin fur is white. He has turquoise green eyes. His hair is silver grey. Its shoulder length and bushy like a surfer cut. Kye's tail is grey pink and furless.
Kye is usually in uniform or body armor. See Spencer's desc for official federation uniform desc. See Carmen's desc for design details. Kye's uniform has an aqua green accent stripe (maintenance). Troops are encouraged to use full uniforms including pants. As an act of machismo many don't. Body armor is minimal for that reason. Weapon holsters and supply pouches can be strapped on.
Kye’s sky board is decorated with a gold-yellow border and a phoenix wing.
Sky boards were invented by Ardis Delbar. The technology is classified. The boards are collapsible. Foot and arm bands send control information to the board. The surface is motion sensitive and uses foot contact for hover control. A cord runs from a foot band to the arm band. The arm band has nerve sensors. It uses arm movement to control direction.
