When Romeo passed away, it left a void in my heart. But just last month, my heart's been filled by a different kind of void. This kittycat you see above belonged to my aunt, who sadly passed away in April. His name is Edgar, and while he is not as affectionate or friendly as Romeo was, he's still brought me lots of joy.

I sure hope so! He seems to tolerate me more than my parents, even though Dad is the one feeding him and cleaning his litter box. Mom wants nothing more to do with him now that he's bitten her twice, and hard at that.
He's been in a bad mood today, so I'm glad he's mellowed out enough to curl up with me in bed.
