One reason Mickey McMichael won't cross over is because of his love for Ireland, his home country. That and his fiancé is still mourning for him and he refuses to leave her side. He's made it his duty to be her guardian angel, so to speak, and always watch over her. So sad.
This was a great piece for practising backgrounds. Mickey is also who I will be making my next suit of, so it's nice to have another reference photo of him. I'm pretty happy with the background. I need better grass brushes, I think. Only took me 3 hours, so I am getting faster!

My God, 3 hours to do this!? It would have took me like 10 hours, maybe the whole day to make something this epic!
The scenery is incredibly gorgeous, and I like how it's not exactly the same as the reference pic. All the colors are so lush and exotic, plus the added touch of those flowers are nice.
Can't forget about Mickey the Ghoat, he sure looks cool and cute, still a shame that he died. At least he can haunt the man who killed him! XD
You did an outstanding job on this, bravo madam! *applauds*

Thanks so much hun. :) Ireland truly is one of the most beautiful places on Earth, I think. It's stunning. Scotland, I think, is just a tad more gorgeous (but I'm biased), but damn!
Mickey actually doesn't know who killed him. There was a huge bar fight (over cashews, no less) and he got caught up in the fight. Someone stabbed him in the upper abdomen and he began to very slowly bleed out. Someone finally came along during the fight, saw him bleeding out slowly, and just bashed him over the head. Act of kindness in the midst of a fight. At least he was unconscious during the bleeding out.
He was *just* about to be married, too. :( Thing is, his fiancée told him not to go to that bar after they had a bit of a tiff earlier that day. She even said, "Don't come home tonight if you do. I'll kill ya!" So... she kinda feels like a bitch now.
It's sad he died. :( He was a genuinely sweet guy. He would have made his town a better place to live if he would've lived.
Thanks for the compliment! :)

Ah, ok.. Heh.. Stories have to come from somewhere, hmm? :)
You also good luck with your suit. Soo, we got a dead goat and a soon to be dead goat. The story developed around my goat's warrior-like. Think big goat, lots of armor, big hammer to do smashy-smashy with, long curly horns, the works.. Going to take a while to make that. ^^;;

OMG! D: Cuban food is <3!!!!!!!! Now I'm hungry. XD I haven't had food in days. Only a can of pears and a bowl of peas in 2-1/2 days. Bah.
Those sound like my personality flaws. XD That actually sounds Irish, too. Irish are stereotyped to be stubborn and extremely temperamental. :D Especially when drunk... which is always (another stereotype).
That whole area is so neat. My grandmother is from Edinburgh, Scotland and her father was from London. <3 I grew up with the stories and they brought their customs to me. :) No Irish in my family, though. Just Scottish and English.

You poor thing! =O Whyfor the starvation?!
Maybe THAT'S why I like Irish culture so much--it's relatable! XD And i do love me some Baileys Irish Cream. One of my FAVORITE drinks.
I'm determined to visit the Irish countryside someday. Just so much lush beautiful greenery, rolling hills, wildflowers, and craggy mountains in the distance ... and the CASTLES! Oh! Be still my heart! My first love is always for anything related to the Middle Ages, so all the cool climate and rustic vistas feel like home to me. Which is odd ... considering that I live in Miami. =D

I ran out of cash. XD Payday is on Monday though. It's okay! I like going hungry lately. The characters in my novel go hungry a lot and this affords me the opportunity to walk in their shoes so I might better write their world. :)
I bet you'd like Scotland, too. <3 http://www.concierge.com/images/des.....hotel_001p.jpg http://www.visitourscotland.co.uk/s.....tish-tours.jpg
I just moved to Indiana from Florida. I miss Florida, but Indiana is very nice, too.

You poor dear. XD Well, at least it serves its purpose, eh? =3
*clutches her chest* That's all the sorts of scenery I adore! Such gorgeous places, Ireland and Scotland. They still have that "old world" feel. Much like the UK, for that matter. =D
Where in Florida did you move from?
