Sweet Shoppe - Issue One COVER
*stretches* Okay...this is it...the tentative cover for the very first issue of Sweet Shoppe! HUZZAH! I am...happy with the way it turned out After having worked on Hybrid, I'm a little more familiar with cover art and corrected the mistakes that I made on that particular cover.
Mint turned out pretty much how I'd hoped. Kind of alluring, but not sleazy (I hope, you all will have to tell me ) so it was worth the time it took to get this done. I am happy with it
SO! Tentatively, this is the cover. ...I say tentatively because unless I can figure out a better cover, this is how it'll be I really hope you enjoy it

Congratulations on your success. I love the glitter effect, it make it look like Mint is showering in stars, or diamond dust. Gives the picture a light fairy touch, which adds nicely with her persona. If I recall correctly you described her as an innocent and caring one.
The Pose itself is not sleazy, combined with her expression it is more like a casual stretch/hair-rearrangement, until she noticed someone else is present.
So once again huzzah towards your achievement. Job very nicely done.

*ruffles hair* It's just a bad habit of mine, to look more at little details in pictures or movies than the whole thing at first. Glad I hit the spot, though. Are you planning on printing it on a private level or via a "big" puplisher? Would be kinda cool to see it in a comic store.
Ooo, I have to catch up a bit! What with a good 2500 submissions piling up in my inbox, I keep missing out on the new stuff... and darn! That's such a shame, because look at how awesome the new stuff is!

More like, as if she is at the beach, doing up her hair after sitting up, and only just noticing you're looking at her. The look on her face kinda shows as if she might be feeling a bit 'caught'... you definitely did very, very well!

Well, thank you I'm glad you like how this turned out. I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of the printed comics, now. I sent them off a few weeks ago and they should be back, soon But, yeah, I'm so happy she came off as alluring and not sleazy. That would have upset me a bit Thanks!

And yes, honestly... I don't think Mint could even ever be sleazy, even if she'd try! She's just so not the type for that... she's much too refined, much too classy for that
