Virgil used to live happily as just a normal citizen of his country, until he was kidnapped to be a test subject. The drug didn't do anything but cause a high while in his system (and all the other test subjects) but as soon as the drugs were no longer present in his system he became what came to be called as an Aggressive. Along with the other test subjects they were able to escape, and steal some of the drugs and the flowers they were made from, and flee to a different country where Virgil now runs a flower shop and grows the drug flower to keep himself and the others dosed while doing everything he can to help find a cure.
