Story
Having stood among the sands for millennia, the sole mountain Keral cast a shadow over the coast of the east. Protecting the small oasis in it's shade from the harsh sun, and the sands. A great sphinx can be seen staring down at the smaller beings below from time to time. The father guardian of the desert. A small temple built in his name along the ridge of the mountain, some of the priestesses have claimed to see him shrunken down to walk between them.

God? Elder sphinx? He rarely responded either way, but when he did he taught great wisdom, and magic. The reigning queen would be wise to gleam a little knowledge from a being so old. It was said the dark invaders themselves were cast from the sands by him and him alone. Which is why the jewel of the sands never knew the hardship of invasion that befell the other sphinxes to the West.
