In the silence of the day swirling vines entrap me,
Mother, Maid, Teacher, Caregiver, Chef, Lover, I see.
Titles of what are to be made of whats called life,
And yet there are others that seem to grip too tight.
Failure, Idiot, Clueless, Mistake, Not much,
Don't let it show, don't give into the clutch.
Hide it in the darkness, wipe the tears away in the shadows,
Bury it deep and put on a smile so that no one knows.
