*SLAMS HAND ONTO DESK* THIS TOOK TOO LONG
I fully redid some of the poses in this one like three whole times, like just scrapping finished lineart and starting over because I hated it so much, good lord, let's never golf again.
The final tune Ian is whistling is "Faerie's Aire and Death Waltz" by John Stump, which is a fantastic bit of comedy by itself. It wasn't created until 1980 but you know what, Ian's doing some straight up summoning in this so all bets are off the freaking table

Curious, I checked out the title as listed above on YouTube, and found two performances, one by the CSMTA orchestra, which was as dissonant as some PDQ Bach pieces, but a lot of fun to watch being performed. (I liked the accordion part.) The next selection was a synthesized piano piece, which might have been closer to what Ian was whistling, and I can understand how he sprained his voice box. Anyway, what a fun and delightfully Different piece. Thanks for the lead, and the laughs.
Something I learned while drawing this page is there's a bit of a rickrolling phenomenon going on where people label "UN Owen Was Her?" as the Death Waltz - the true version sounds like total gibberish and is approximated here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3W5Oo1XMMvY
Ian is truly the whistling Icarus, tho
