I finally had some money and purchased some prisma markers (got them on sale) and of course my sister chooses that moment to bug me about drawing her character. So I did this up as a kind of test image.
"Stickers" is a tiny feline/fairy who likes bright colors and is easily distracted...she also has a temper and a giant hammer.
tips for coloring with prisma markers are welcome (I know I went outside of the lines and there are streak marks)

Just recently, I was shown that if you color with small circles, you avoid "streaks" and uneven color spread. Give that a try.
And start with the lighter tones first, then move to darker ones over them.
And here's one more... well, a question first. Where are you buying them from? If Michaels or Hobby Lobby or something like that, eeeee no no no no no. Order 'em online from Jerry's Artorama. You will save a LOT of money that way.
Now, as for the art... AWWWWWWWWWW! She's cute!

I got them from Hobby lobby on sale...I didn't know they would be any cheaper then that. Though I'm going to need more, these are basic colors and I need more. I tried coloring light to dark and the blending didn't seem to work out right for me...then again maybe I just need to practice more. The circles sounds brilliant, thanks!
Oh, def practice more. I've seen some people do AMAZING things with these markers. You can also get a nicer blend effect if you "shade" using the same color as your base... it makes the new "layer" just a bit darker usually. Should help the fade from base color to shadow.
As for price, Jerry's I believe has them regular-price at about $2.40 a pop. With the occasional sale.
