Just for fun, here's an early in-process shot of the Keybird piece. it changed a lot from this point, where it was mostly an opaque digital painting with a layer of hue/sat in order to knock the color down to a uniform sepia and a dode layer to brighten up her face. I'm a fairly indecisive person, these things are often not really planned.
