The first official reference sheet of my Protogen character, drawn (and initially conceived) by  merlin-the-bruce

It's been a bit of a journey since Merlin made a quick cute sketch of my fox 'sona as a Protogen, and I just dived head first into it. Since then I've had more art, including a cute chibi by Merlin and an awesome Birthday present from Merlin and  Tapewolf. I've even been working on making the Protogen suit a reality!

However, some of this art was a bit tricky since it was initially without a proper reference. I first commissioned Merlin for the reference months ago, and while we quickly refined the design, I got stuck on deciding upon the colour scheme and the symbol. Finally, the kind birthday gift from Tapewolf and Merlin puts a deadline on me for finalizing the design before they post the art online. I worked out the symbol mostly overnight, and had an awesome video chat with Tapewolf where we work out the colour scheme and designs. The final result is above.

Having a ref is awesome, it'll be so much easier for artists to make art of my character, and it's going to be useful as I keep working on my Protogen costume/fursuit.
